Choir
Centennial United Church has a committed choir which helps to preach the Gospel in the Sunday service through their music. Dorothy Froese, our enthusiastic director, provides encouraging and educational leadership.
The choir, singing a variety of worship music genres in four parts, provides not only music leadership to the congregation but also choir anthems which add spiritually to the Sunday worship experience.
Our church supports four Choral Scholars from the Conservatory of Music and University of Victoria. These young talented people add a wonderful breadth to our music. We take pride in giving them the opportunity to increase their skills in performance. We also take great interest in their musical careers – both while they are at Centennial and afterwards.
Members are always welcome to join our fun and music. We delight in singing but we also enjoy fellowship and food – we have several choir parties each year so the members can relax outside the church setting.
