Centennial E-mail Directory
The following is a directory of E-mail addresses for members of the Centennial Family. This list is strictly for communication among friends, primarily for information related to Centennial activities. Please do NOT send jokes, mass E-mails, etc. to anyone on this list without receiving prior permission.

E-mail Etiquette
We are offering here a number of guidelines regarding E-mail.If a message ends with something like "Please send this to everyone you know", or "you will receive good luck if you send it on", even if it is a great message, delete that part. Leave it up to the recipients to decide if they want to send it on or not.
Check for hoaxes before sending on any mass E-mail message. Generally, most E-mails that warn you of something, ask you to sign a petition, promise money for forwarding the message, or even warn you of a virus are hoaxes. If you receive one of these, please check them out by doing a Search (we prefer http://www.google.ca). Enter some description -- usually the subject -- plus hoax or "Urban Legend". This will usually lead you to several websites which will let you know if it is a hoax. In the case of a warning about a Virus or Worm, check with http://www.norton.com or http://www.mcaffee.com -- they usually have the latest information on current viruses. If the type included in the message you received is not present at either of these locations, it is probably a hoax. If you do determine that the message is a hoax, let the sender know, giving the website address that describes it.
If possible, check any attachments for viruses or worms using Norton, McAffee or other virus checkers before sending them on.
E-mail is a GREAT
way to keep in touch with family, colleagues and friends. Many of us
really enjoy receiving jokes, words of wisdom, etc. However, some do
not appreciate too many messages. Please try to be aware of the
wishes of people in your E-mail address book.
